What is a Founding Acorn?
A Founding Acorn is someone who chose to believe in Chaotic Squirrel Boutique from the very beginning and helped us grow something special from the ground up.
Being a Founding Acorn means You Belonged Before We Began!
What was included in the Founding Acorn Membership?
Each Founding Acorn Membership included:
- Comfort Colors Founding Acorn T-shirt or Founding Acorn Tote
- Founding Acorn keepsakes and surprises
Is the Founding Acorn Membership a recurring subscription?
No.
The Founding Acorn Membership was a one-time purchase offered during our original Founding Acorn Enrollment Period from July 15 through September 30, 2026.
It is separate from The Monthly Subscription.
Can I still become a Founding Acorn?
Founding Acorn enrollment is now officially closed.
Our Founding Acorns are the original members who joined Chaotic Squirrel Boutique during our founding enrollment period, and that status will always be theirs.
You can still become part of the Chaotic Squirrel Boutique community by shopping the boutique or joining The Monthly Subscription.
Our Apparel
What brands do you use for your apparel?
For apparel included in The Monthly Subscription, we use Comfort Colors. We chose Comfort Colors for its premium quality, garment-dyed colors, soft feel, relaxed fit, and lived-in feel from the start.

For our Create Your Own Chaos Apparel collection, we may offer additional garment options, including Gildan Softstyle, depending on the style and product.
We'll always list the exact brand and garment style on the individual product page.
How does your apparel fit?
Fit varies depending on the garment.
Comfort Colors styles generally feature a relaxed, unisex fit. Many of our Gildan Softstyle options also feature a unisex fit, but measurements can vary by garment style.
We recommend reviewing the size chart on the individual product page before ordering.
If you prefer a more oversized look, you may want to size up depending on the garment.
Where can I find the size chart?
A size chart is available on each apparel product page so you can review the measurements before selecting your size.
Orders & Shipping
When will my Founding Acorn order ship?
All Founding Acorn orders placed through August 31, 2026 have shipped.
Orders placed between September 1 and September 30, 2026 will begin shipping around October 7, 2026.
Can I return my T-shirt if I ordered the wrong size?
Because our graphic apparel is made specifically for your order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges due to an incorrect size selection. Please review the size chart carefully before ordering.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@chaoticsquirrelboutique.com. We'll make it right.
Monthly Subscription
Is there a monthly subscription?
Yes!
Chaotic Squirrel Boutique offers a monthly surprise subscription inspired by our squirrel family. Each month features a squirrel and a theme, with a curated selection of goodies inspired by her personality. You'll know the featured squirrel and theme, but the items inside are part of the surprise!
Subscribers also enjoy exclusive community benefits and can manage their subscriptions through a private customer portal, including options to skip, pause, cancel, and reactivate as needed.
How does the monthly schedule work?
Our goal is for you to receive each month's CSB package at the beginning of the month, while the theme is still timely and relevant.
By the 13th: Finalize any required monthly selections or changes.
15th: Active subscriptions renew.
16th: We place our production orders.
We then order, create, quality-check, package, and ship your items, aiming to have them in your hands around the 1st–3rd of the upcoming month.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Month-to-month subscriptions will automatically renew on our scheduled monthly billing date after your initial purchase.
Can I skip a month?
Yes. You can skip an eligible upcoming order through your customer portal.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Yes. You can pause your subscription and resume it when you're ready.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel standard month-to-month subscriptions through your customer portal. Special discounted prepaid or commitment plans may have different cancellation terms, and we will clearly explain those terms before you purchase the plan.
Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?
Yes. If you decide you miss your squirrel chaos, you can come back and reactivate your subscription.
Can I manage my subscription myself?
Yes. Your customer portal lets you manage the options we enable, including shipping information, eligible product changes, quantities, skipping orders, pausing, resuming, and canceling.
What happens if I forget to make my monthly selections?
Our monthly subscription is a surprise experience. Occasionally, an item may require a preference, such as a T-shirt size or color, while the remaining items stay a surprise.
If you don't make a required selection by the 13th of the month, we will replace that item with a substitute of comparable value that doesn't require a selection.
Will every monthly box include a T-Shirt?
Not necessarily! Each month's box is curated around the featured squirrel and her theme. The items may vary from month to month, making every box a new surprise.
You can also shop our available apparel and other boutique finds separately, without purchasing a subscription.
Prepaid Subscription Options
Can I save money by paying ahead?
Yes! We offer discounted prepaid subscription options for customers who prefer to pay for several months in advance.
Prepaid subscribers get the same monthly surprise experience as standard subscribers, plus the added benefit of saving money by paying upfront. Each month's box is still curated around the featured squirrel and her theme.
Available prepaid plans, pricing, and savings are displayed when you select your subscription option.
Private CSB Community
Does an active subscription include access to the private CSB community?
Yes. Active subscribers receive access to our private Chaotic Squirrel Boutique GroupMe community, where members can connect, share their CSB goodies, participate in polls, get behind-the-scenes peeks, talk about the squirrels, and be part of what we're creating together.
Do Founding Acorns keep community access if they are not subscribed?
Yes. Founding Acorns receive lifetime community access, regardless of their future subscription status.
